The real one. Look for the support or downloads section. Match the version to your hardware.
V4 and V5 are not interchangeable. One wrong file and your device won’t boot.
Downloading from random sites? That’s how you get malware disguised as an update. Or worse.
A fake file that just deletes your OS.
Step 3: Prep the SD card.
Format it to FAT32. Not exFAT. Not NTFS.
FAT32. Use your computer’s built-in tool (no) third-party apps.
Then drag only the firmware files onto the root of the card. No folders. No extra files.

Cheap SanDisks fail more than you’d think.
Missing games or saves? You backed them up first, right? (If not.
Stop and do that now.) Drop your save files back into the /saves/ folder on the card. Exact path matters.
This isn’t magic. It’s file management with consequences.
